One community, all year
MBC is deliberately one community rather than a network of channels. Everyone reads the same book and everyone is in the same room.
The day-to-day life of the club happens in a single MBC WhatsApp community: Moments on Monday and Friday, MBC Voice on Wednesday, Reading Room reminders, mission coordination and ordinary conversation between readers.
WhatsApp is a communication layer and nothing more. This website and its database are the system of record for membership, payments, attendance, contributions, recognition and every other fact about your journey. If WhatsApp were unavailable tomorrow, MBC would keep running.
Member contributions — reflections, reviews, prompts, mission notes — are moderated before they appear publicly. This is not a Facebook-style social network and we are not trying to build one.
Every Sunday the club prepares “This Week, We Celebrate” for members with birthdays in the coming week. We publish the day and month only — never the birth year and never an age.
