Master Chimbala
Founder, primary guide, mentor and lead voice of Masters Book Club.
Master Chimbala founded Masters Book Club on a simple conviction: that a serious reading community, run properly and all year round, can change what people believe is possible for their own lives.
He curates and recommends the official MBC book and retains final scheduling authority over the reading cycles, while member voices and votes genuinely inform what we read next. He introduces each cycle, explains why it was chosen, and sets the questions the club will live with.
He is the club's lead voice — the MBC Voice notes, the pivotal moments of the year, the Readers Festival — but he does not need to MC every session. The weekly Reading Room is deliberately facilitated by MBC hosts and the wider team so the conversation belongs to the members.
MBC is one of four equal, independently operated platforms under Master Chimbala Surge. It keeps its own membership, records, payments, communications and administration, and continues to run whether or not any sibling platform does.
